Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Office Subordinate: Must have passed SSC or equivalent
• Anesthesia Technician: Must possess Intermediate with science Groups and 2 years Diploma in Anaesthesia Technician. Must be registered in APPMB
• Cardiology Technician: B.Sc Degree from a Recognized University with 2 years Diploma in Cardiology Technician with 2 years Diploma in Electrocardiography from a Recognized Institution OR B.Sc in Cardiovascular Technology from a Recognized Institution. Must be registered in APPMB
• Lab Technician: Must possess DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) OR Intermediate (VOC) with one year apprenticeship in Govt. Hospitals. Must be registered in APPMB. In case of candidate possess both DMLT and B.Sc MLT, the maximum percentage secured in any of the above shall be considered
• Operation Theatre Technician: Must possess Diploma in Medical Sterilization Management & Operation Theatre Technician. Must be registered in APPMB
• General Duty Attendant: Must have passed SSC/10th Class or its equivalent from a recognized Board
• Store Attendant: Must have passed SSC or its equivalent
• Lab Attendant: Must have passed SSC/10th or its equivalent. Must possess Lab Attendant Course or Intermediate (Lab Attendant Vocational Course) conducted by the Board of Inter Education, AP or from any other institution recognized by the Govt of AP
• ECG Technician: Must have passed intermediate examination or its equivalent. Must possess Diploma in ECG Technician course from a recognized institution. Must be registered in APPMB
• Library Assistant: Must possess Intermediate with CLISc (Certificate in Library Science) from a recognized university

Essential Requirements:

• The candidate should possess prescribed academic/technical/professional qualifications for the post they are applying for as on the date of this notification
• If the applicant possesses an equivalent qualification to prescribed qualification in this notification, applicant shall enclose a copy of the Government orders to that effect to the application, failing which their application will be rejected
• For posts requiring APPMB registration, valid certificate of registration in A.P. Para Medical Board is mandatory

Age Limit (as on 01.12.2025)

• Maximum Age Limit: 42 years
• Age Relaxations:
  • For SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates: 05 (Five) years
  • For Ex-service Men: 03 (Three) years in addition to the length of service in armed forces
  • For differently abled persons: 10 (Ten) years
  • Maximum age limit with all relaxations put together: 52 years
• Age Calculation Date: Age will be reckoned as on 01.12.2025 as per G.O.Ms.No.105 GA (Ser-A) dept., dated 27.09.2021

Application Fee

• Applicant must enclose a Demand Draft towards application processing fee in favor of Principal, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram
• If any candidate wants to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to enclose separate demand draft for each post and apply for each post separately for both Government Medical College and Government Teaching General Hospital, Rajamahendravaram

Selection Process

• Total Marks: 100
• Marks Distribution for Qualifying Examination: 75% will be allocated for aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in qualifying examination or any other equivalent qualification
• Weightage for Experience: Up to 10 marks @ 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring requisite Qualification as mentioned in the pass certificate. Weightage will be reckoned up to date of notification
• Weightage for Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium Service: Up to 15% will be given to the candidates working on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis including COVID-19 service subject to their Satisfactory service certified by the competent authority
• Weightage Based on Working Area:
  • 2.5 marks per Six Months in Tribal Area
  • 2.0 marks per Six Months in Rural Area
  • 1.0 marks per Six Months in Urban Areas
  • No weightage will be given for the services less than six months for Non-COVID service
• COVID-19 Weightage: If any individual worked less than 6 months for COVID, 0.8 marks per completed month will be awarded. Applicable only to the persons who have rendered their services for COVID-19 on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis and are appointed by the District Collector or any other competent authority
• The candidates claiming service weightage shall submit original contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium service certificate issued by competent authority along with copy of appointment orders

General Information/Instructions

• Proforma of application will be available on the portal https://eastgodavari.ap.gov.in/ from 10:00 am on 26.12.2025 to 04:00 pm on 09.01.2026
• Filled in applications shall be submitted in the specified counters in office of the Principal/Addl. DME, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram
• All candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible without waiting till last date to avoid last hour rush
• Candidates are advised to obtain dated acknowledgement from the receiving authority
• No applications will be accepted by post or through email
• District Jurisdiction for this recruitment is Erstwhile District Only. Candidates studied from Erstwhile East Godavari District will only be considered as local candidates based on 4th to 10th study certificates as per the Presidential order
• Counseling will be conducted Separately for Government Medical College and Government Teaching General Hospital, Rajamahendravaram
• Candidates have to submit separate application form for Government Medical College posts and Government Teaching General Hospital posts
• The Final Merit Lists of this notification is valid for one Year from the date of issue of this notification
• Reservations are applicable as per Rule 22 of AP State and Subordinate Services Rules and instructions issued from time to time including BC, SC and ST reservations
• The tenure for the contract/outsourcing posts is initially one year from the date of joining in the post and may be extended for further period as per the instructions issued by the Government from time to time
• The District Selection Committee reserves all the rights to terminate the contract/outsourcing services of any candidate/candidates at any time with one month notice
• If selected, he/she should stay at the bonafide Head Quarters compulsorily
• If selected and appointed, he/she should abide to the Government rules in force regularly from time to time
