Selection Process – Executive Officer
For Executive Officer posts (all domains), the selection process includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by interview.
- Mode: CBT with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) plus Descriptive questions.
- Medium: English.
- Total marks: 150 marks, duration 150 minutes.
Structure for Executive Officer CBT:
- General Section – Part A (MCQ): 30 questions, 30 marks.
- General Section – Part B (Descriptive): 2 questions, 30 marks.
- Technical Section (MCQ): 90 questions, 90 marks.
- Negative marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong MCQ answer; no negative marking for descriptive questions.
The technical syllabus differs by domain code (2602–2608) and covers domain-specific topics such as Accounting Standards, auditing, tax laws, company law, sustainability, economics, infrastructure engineering, and IT, as detailed in the annexure to the notification

Click on “Apply Online” / “APPLY HERE” Button In the advertisement PDF (last page), you will see a blue “APPLY HERE” button. Click it → It will redirect you to the official online application portal.
Register / Login on the Portal

- Pay ₹500 online through the payment gateway (Net Banking / UPI / Debit/Credit Card).
- Application is complete only after successful payment.
Submit & Take Printout
- After successful submission, download and take a printout of the filled application form.
- Keep it safely with you.
- Do NOT send hard copy to ICAI unless asked later.
