Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent can apply within three years of completion of Ph.D. in the specified disciplines; three years will be counted from the date of thesis or dissertation defence.
- Applicants must have a consistently good academic record and demonstrated research potential.
- Applicants must be from the reserved categories, only from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.
Salary / Stipend
- Fellowship amount is Rs. 80,000 to 90,000 per month consolidated.
- Grant of two reputed national conferences in total two years is available, limited to Rs. 50,000 each, subject to approval.
- No additional benefits or perquisites will be provided.

General Information / Instructions
- Post-Doctoral Fellow work is related to research projects and will not lead to any degree, diploma, or any academic qualification or credentials.
- On successful completion, a certificate will be issued as per the practice of the institute.
- Post-Doctoral fellowship will be for a maximum period of two years, with a review after one year of completion.
- Continuation in the second year will be based on outstanding performance and recommendations by the Doctoral Committee after review.
- No extension beyond two years will be granted.
