IREL OSCOM Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

As on the last date of application (15th May 2026), the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 25 years. Reserved category candidates are entitled to age relaxation as per Government norms. SC/ST candidates receive a relaxation of up to 5 years (maximum age: 30 years). OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates receive a relaxation of up to 3 years (maximum age: 28 years). Persons with Disabilities (PwD) receive a relaxation of up to 10 years (applicable over and above the category relaxation for SC/ST/OBC). Selection will be based on merit determined by marks scored in the specified educational qualification. In case of a tie in marks, the candidate with higher marks in the qualifying examination will be preferred. If the tie persists, seniority in date of birth (older candidate preferred) will be the tiebreaker.
