Maharishi Valmiki Hospital (MVH), Delhi, has announced the recruitment for 4 Junior Resident (MBBS) positions on an adhoc basis. Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS from a recognized university.
- Must have completed one year internship not before 2 years as on date of interview.
- Must be enrolled with Delhi Medical Council.
- The candidate must not have completed 01 year Junior Residency in any Govt. hospital in India.
- For candidates applying under OBC (Non Creamy layer belonging to Delhi only) and EWS category, the certificate should be valid and must be issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
- Reservation to Physically handicapped candidates will be allowed as per Rule.

Selection Process
- Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as per Residency Scheme may appear before the interview panel on the scheduled date with their original documents along with self attested copies of all the documents.
- The interview will be conducted after 11:00 AM on the date mentioned in the notice.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- In case of non-availability of suitable candidates as per the relevant scheme, candidates may be considered in terms of the relaxation provisions circulated as per circular no. F.121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10/06/2011 of Deptt. of H&FW, GNCT of Delhi.
- Post Graduate doctors who are interested to serve as Junior Residents will be allowed to join as Junior Residents if fresh graduates are not available.
- Junior Residents who have completed one year of Junior Residency may be allowed to again appear for interview for selection and will be offered residency only if no fresh Junior Residents are available.
- There would be no extension for any Junior Resident beyond one year of appointment under relaxed provisions.
- Firstly, the list containing the name of fresh candidates would be exhausted for appointment as Junior Residents and the second list (relaxed category) would be used only after that.
- The services of Adhoc Junior Residents are likely to be terminated upon joining of Medical Officers and Regular Junior Residents through Govt. of NCT of Delhi even if the tenure of 89 days is not completed.
General Information/Instructions
- Walk-in-interview is for filling up vacancies of Junior Residents on Purely Adhoc basis for a period of 89 days or till the regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier.
- Reservation to Physically handicapped candidates will be allowed as per Rule.
- The number of vacancies may vary.
- In case of non-availability of suitable candidates of reserved category, reserved category seat(s) will be filled by candidates of general category/another category on Ad-hoc basis.
- Application form is attached with the notice for Walk-in-Interview; no such application form shall be provided at the time of Walk-in-Interview.
- Hostel accommodation is compulsory for Junior Residents.
- Checklist for arranging/annexing requisite documents along with application form is annexed with the notice.
