Eligibility Criteria
- Optometrist: B Sc Optometry / Two years diploma in Optometry.
- Ayurveda Therapist: Kerala Government DAME approved Ayurveda Therapist course.
- Ayurveda Therapist: Candidates who have completed one-year Ayurveda Therapist course from NARIP Cheruthuruthy will be considered.
- Pharmacist (Homoeopathy): Certificate Course in Pharmacy / Nurse Cum Pharmacist (Homoeopathy) or equivalent.
- Experience: For Ayurveda Therapist, candidates with work experience from recognized institutions will be granted relaxation in upper age limit up to a maximum of 10 years.
- Retired Ayurveda Therapists below 60 years will be considered.
Salary/Stipend
- Optometrist: Consolidated salary of 17,850/- per month.
- Ayurveda Therapist: Consolidated salary of 14,700/- per month.
- Pharmacist (Homoeopathy): Salary 14,700/- per month.
Age Limit
- For Optometrist: Upper age limit 40 years as on 17.01.2026.
- For Ayurveda Therapist: Upper age limit 40 years as on 17.01.2026; relaxation in higher age limit up to 10 years for candidates with work experience from recognized institutions.
- For Ayurveda Therapist: Retired Ayurveda Therapists below 60 years will be considered.
- For Pharmacist (Homoeopathy): Upper age limit 40 years as on 17.01.2026.

Selection Process
- Selection will be through walk-in interview on 30.01.2026 for the posts of Optometrist, Ayurveda Therapist and Pharmacist (Homoeopathy).
General Information/Instructions
- Walk-in interview will be conducted on 30.01.2026 for various AYUSH health institutions in Palakkad district on contract basis.
- Interested candidates must report at the National AYUSH Mission office functioning in District Homoeo Hospital building, Kalpathy, Palakkad.
- Candidates should bring original certificates and copies proving qualification and age along with a recent passport size photograph.
