Eligibility Criteria
- Stenographer Grade-III: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from recognized university
- Clerk: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from recognized university and passed matriculation with Hindi as one subject
- Age: 18-42 years as on 01-01-2026
- Bonafide resident of Haryana State for reserved category posts
- Stenographer: English Shorthand Test qualification at 80 w.p.m. with transcription at 20 w.p.m.
- Computer Proficiency Test qualification (qualifying nature only)
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years (as on 01-01-2026)
- Upper age limit relaxation for SC, OBC and other reserved categories as per government norms
Salary/ Stipend
- Monthly Salary: Rs. 25,500/- (Consolidated)
- Duration: Initially for six months or till regular appointments are made or till regular Stenographer Gr.III becomes eligible for promotion as Stenographer Gr.II, whichever is earlier

- Stenographer Grade-III: English Shorthand Test (80 w.p.m. speed with 20 w.p.m. transcription on Computer), Computer Proficiency Test (qualifying nature only - word processing and spreadsheet)
- Clerk: Written examination (General Knowledge 50 marks objective, English Composition 20 marks objective + 30 marks subjective = 100 total marks, 33% qualifying in each subject but 40% aggregate required), followed by Computer Proficiency Test (qualifying nature only)
