Age Limit

Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years, counted as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxation applies as per the instructions of the General Administration Department issued from time to time for Chhattisgarh residents and various categories.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in Commerce from a recognised university.
• One-year diploma in computer from a recognised institution/university.

Experience

2 years of relevant accounts work experience after graduation in Central/State Government, a local body or a Government-aided institution listed on the NITI Aayog website. Experience certificates are accepted only from government, semi-government or government-funded/aided non-government institutions. For experience in a non-government institution, certified pay-slips or bank statements for 3 continuous months must be attached.

Desirable

Candidates holding a Tally certificate will be given priority.

Other Conditions

• The applicant must be a native of Chhattisgarh; a self-attested copy of the residence certificate is required.
• Only permanent caste and residence certificates issued by the competent authority are accepted.
• Anyone removed earlier from a post by Chhattisgarh Ajeevika Samvardhan Samiti or any government department for indiscipline, misconduct or irregularity is not eligible.
• A candidate who married before the minimum legal age, or who married a person with a living spouse (unless the government exempts), is not eligible.

Selection Process

Selection is on a merit of 100 marks. If many applications arrive, 10 applicants for the post are called for the interview/skill test in order of merit. The applicant with the highest combined marks is appointed.

• Marksheets showing only a grade get the average percentage of that grade (an A grade of 80 to 90 per cent counts as 85 per cent).
• On equal marks, the older candidate is selected first.
• The next 5 candidates are kept on a waiting list for one year to fill any future vacancy.
• The selection committee's decision on accepting experience documents is final.

Service Conditions

• The contract appointment is for one year. It may be continued for another year on the basis of work ability, efficiency, Annual Performance Appraisal and conduct, with the consent of both sides.
• All conditions of General Administration Department memo No. F 9-1/2012/1-3 dated 31 December 2012 on contract appointments apply.
• Leave is under the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Contract Appointment) Rules 2012; conduct under the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules 1965.
• Either side can end the contract with one month's notice or one month's pay.
• No pension, gratuity or death benefit is given for contract service.

3. Paste a self-attested passport size photo.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all certificates and marksheets; unattested applications are not accepted.
5. For each experience certificate, give the issuing institution's name and full address, outward number, date, issuing officer's name and designation, and a contact phone number and email; otherwise the experience is not counted.
6. Candidates working in a government, semi-government or non-government institution must apply through proper channel with a no objection certificate.
7. Write the name of the post on the envelope; without it the application is rejected.
