National Institute of Oceanography Vacancy Details: Total No. of Posts: 22 Name of the Posts: 1. Scientist: 18 Posts 2. Senior Scientist: 03 Posts 3. Principal Scientist: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 32 years for S.No-1, 37 years for S.No-2, 45 years for S.No-3 as on 28-12-2015. Age relaxations are applicable upto 05 years for SC/ ST and 03 years for OBC as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D in Ocean Sciences/ Oceanography/ Ocean Engineering/ Geological Oceanography/ Marine Geology or any scientific topic related to Marine Biology/ Biological Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences or M.E/ M.Tech in relevant disciplines with relevant experiences.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in examination/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs.100/- through crossed Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of "Director, NIO" payable at Goa.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website http://www.nio.org on or before 28-12-2015 up to 05:30 PM and send their print out of the application form, DD, self attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate (if applicable) with one recent passport size photograph, in an envelope should be superscribed as "Application for the post of _____(Post Code_____)" by post to the Controller of Administration, National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, Goa - 403 004 on or before 04-01-2016 (Monday).
