Duties of Each Post

Administrative Executive

This post handles the centre's administration, finance and grant management from start to finish.

• Finance and accounts: vouchers, ledgers, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, bills, invoices and reimbursements; Income & Expenditure and Receipts & Payments statements; MIS reports; budget-head-wise expenditure tracking.
• Grant and government finance: AIM/STPI grant use and balance tracking; Utilization Certificates (UCs); PFMS-related processes and grant releases; financial reporting for AIM, STPI, PMG, the Governing Board and audits.
• Statutory compliance: GST, TDS, PF and ESI; coordination with the Chartered Accountant, the auditor and statutory consultants; keeping audit records up to date.
• Administration and procurement: day-to-day administration of the Incubation Centre; vendor records, quotations, work orders and contracts; procurement under government/STPI procedures; asset and inventory records.
• e-Office: e-Office/Parichay file creation, movement and tracking; notes for internal approvals; following up on pending approvals.

Marketing & Project Coordinator

This post supports the centre's startup outreach, partnerships, marketing, digital presence and programmes.

• Startup outreach and OCP: outreach for Open Challenge Programs and incubation programmes; startup databases; coordination with universities, incubators, accelerators and startup communities; application campaigns and screening.
• Business development: partnerships with corporates, GCCs, industry, academia, investors, hospitals, technology companies and CSR organisations; proposals and MoUs; CSR support, sponsorships and investor roundtables.
• Marketing and digital presence: LinkedIn and other social media channels, website content and newsletters; startup and founder stories; press releases; content calendars and engagement analytics; working with photography, video and agency vendors.
• Digital marketing: tools such as Canva for communication material, and analytics tools to measure campaigns.
• Programmes and events: OCPs, workshops, Demo Days, hackathons and investor engagements; an annual/quarterly events calendar; post-event reporting.
• Startup marketing assistance: putting marketing assistance in place for incubated startups and tracking its use and results.

Selection Process

1. A Screening Committee checks the applications received by the last date. It looks at qualifications, age, academic record and relevant experience. Candidates who meet the advertised qualifications and experience may be screened in.
2. Screened-in candidates are called for a personal interview before a Selection Committee on the scheduled date and time.
3. The Selection Committee recommends a candidate or a panel of candidates, in order of merit, for appointment.

Service Conditions

• The contract runs for 3 years or until the end of AIC STPI Bengaluru, whichever is earlier. It may be renewed based on performance, subject to the project tenure being extended.
• Both posts report to the CEO or the STPI Jurisdictional Director, as the STPI Jurisdictional Director decides.
• The job is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The work location can change by mutual agreement.
• If a candidate is found ineligible on any ground after appointment, their services may be terminated without a reason being given.
• Any litigation is subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
