• If work and conduct are not found satisfactory, services can be terminated at any time after giving due opportunity of being heard.
• A selected candidate who wants to leave can do so after giving one month's notice in writing to the University.
• Services are liable to be terminated at any time, without assigning any reason, if the funding agency does not release funds for the project.
• The SRF will not be treated as a regular employee of the University and will not be entitled to CPF/GPF or other benefits of regular employees.
• On completion of the project, the SRF will stand relieved; the University/department will not be responsible for adjustment on any other post, as there is no equivalent post in the same project/scheme.

1. Prepare the application in the Annexure-A format, writing "Senior Research Fellow" against "Application for the position of".

3. Paste an attested passport size photograph in the space provided.
4. Attach a No objection certificate from your present employer, if applicable.

6. Make sure the complete application is received in the office of the Professor & Head (Genetics & Plant Breeding), Department of Genetics & Plant Breeding, CCS HAU, Hisar by 10:00 A.M. on 20 November 2026.

No application received after this time will be entertained for any reason. The notice does not mention the mode of sending (post or by hand).

Selection and Interview

The interview will be held on 21 November 2026 at 9:30 A.M. in the office of the Director of Research, CCS HAU, Hisar. No separate letter for interview will be issued. Candidates must produce or show original certificates at the interview and should also bring certified true copies or original certificates to be submitted to the University.

• The selected candidate must report for duty within 10 days of issue of the appointment order; otherwise the appointment will be treated as cancelled and may be offered to another selected candidate.
• An agreement on Non judicial Stamped paper of Rs. 15/- must be executed before joining the post of SRF.
• In the declaration, the candidate agrees that candidature or appointment may be cancelled without notice if any information is found false, incorrect or incomplete, or ineligibility is detected before or after interview/selection.
