How to Apply for CGSSB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026?

  1. Visit the official website vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in or cgssb.cgstate.gov.in.
  2. Complete Profile Registration if you have not already registered on the portal. Once registered, candidates do not need to re-enter personal details for each individual exam application.
  3. Upload a recent photograph with a light-coloured background, self-clicked, in .jpg/.jpeg format, with a file size between 50 KB and 100 KB.
  4. Upload a scanned copy of your signature as a separate file, also between 50 KB and 100 KB in .jpg/.jpeg format.
  5. Fill in the online application form for the LSAT26 exam using your registered profile details.
  6. Pay the applicable examination fee online as per your category.
  7. Click the "SUBMIT" button to complete the application. The application is considered complete only after clicking Submit.
  8. Download and take a printout of the submitted application form and keep it safely for future reference.

CGSSB LSAT26 Application Correction Facility

  • Candidates who make an error while filling the online application get 3 days after the application closing date to correct it themselves online.
  • Basic profile corrections must first be made in the Profile Registration section; the correction will then reflect in the exam application.
  • The result will be prepared strictly based on the information filled in by the candidate. No correction request will be entertained after this stage or at any later stage.

CGSSB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern

  • The written exam will consist of 100 objective-type (multiple choice) questions.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Total duration of the exam is 2 hours (10:00 AM to 12:15 PM as per admit card timing).
  • Each question has 4 answer options; candidates must select one correct option.
  • Negative marking is applicable: 1/4th mark will be deducted for a wrong answer or for marking more than one option for the same question.
  • No marks (zero) will be given for unattempted questions.
  • Answers must be marked on the OMR sheet using a black or blue ball-point pen only.

CGSSB LSAT26 Exam Day Guidelines and Dress Code

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam start time for identity verification and frisking.
  • The main gate of the exam centre will close 30 minutes before the exam starts. Since the exam begins at 10:00 AM, the gate will close at 9:30 AM.
  • Candidates should wear light-coloured, half-sleeve clothing. Black, dark blue, dark green, purple, maroon, and dark chocolate-coloured clothes are not allowed.
  • Only slippers/chappals are permitted as footwear; shoes are not allowed.
  • Wearing any type of jewellery in the ears is prohibited.
  • Candidates in religious or cultural attire must report to the exam centre earlier than the general reporting time, as they will need to undergo an additional security check.
  • Communication devices, electronic devices, electronic watches, purses, pouches, scarves, belts, caps, and similar items are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam room during the first 30 minutes and the last 30 minutes of the exam.
  • Candidates who fail to follow the instructions will be barred from appearing in the exam, and strict action will be taken against candidates found using unfair means, including cancellation of candidature.

CGSSB Assistant Teacher Answer Key Objection Process

  • After the exam, CGSSB will release a model answer key on its website.
  • Candidates who disagree with the model answer key can raise objections online by logging in with their registration/profile ID and date of birth.
  • A fee of Rs. 50/- per question must be paid online to raise an objection; objections without fee payment are not accepted.
  • Objections sent by post, email, or submitted in person at the CGSSB office will not be accepted.
  • Each objection must be submitted separately for each question; combined objections for multiple questions in a single submission will be rejected.
  • All objections will be examined by subject experts, and their decision on the final answer key will be treated as final.
