Eligibility Criteria
- Accountant - Essential Qualification: 1. Commerce Graduate with Honours. 2. Working knowledge of computer and ability to work in MS Office Packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint). 3. Working knowledge of Spread sheet, Tally and Presentation Packages.
- Accountant - Working Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in any Government or Non-Government organisation.
- Data Entry Operator - Essential Qualification: 1. Graduate in any discipline. 2. Working knowledge of computer and ability to work in MS Office Packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint). 3. Must have typing speed 30 wpm.
- Data Entry Operator - Working Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in any Government or Non-Government organisation.
- Residential Detail (Both posts): Must be permanent resident of Jhargram District.
Salary/ Stipend
- Accountant: Rs. 21,000/- per month (Consolidated). Remuneration of Retired Government Employees will be guided by Finance Department order no 10935-F(P) dated 05.12.2011.
- Data Entry Operator: Rs. 16,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2026.
- For Accountant: For retired Govt. employees upper age as per rules.
- For Data Entry Operator (ST category): Candidates Scheduled Tribes shall be entitled to a concession of five years over the prescribed age limit.

Selection Process
- For Data Entry Operator: (1) Typing speed test (qualifying). (2) Written test (General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Arithmetic, English - 40 marks). (3) Computer Test (50 marks). (4) Personality Test (10 marks).
- For Accountant: Written test (General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Arithmetic, English and Accountancy - 50 marks). Computer Test (40 marks). Personality Test (10 marks).
Shortlisted applicants based on eligibility for typing speed test (DEO only). Qualifying candidates proceed to written test. Cut-off for Computer Test and Personality Test set by District Level Selection Committee. Final merit list on aggregate marks, valid for 1 year. In case of tie, preference to older candidate as on 01.01.2026.
