IIT Madras Project Manager 2025 Vacancy Details
Applications are invited for the temporary post of Project Manager in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Madras under the Office of IC&SR.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT, consulting, or digital transformation with program or portfolio leadership across large, complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Proven success leading programmes of scale (for example, multi-year platform builds or large programme budgets).
- Strong background in enterprise integration, platforms, or interoperability, including exposure to APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with CXO-level stakeholders and handle priorities, scope and trade-offs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent; a Master’s degree in Technology / Management is preferred.
Other Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions as on the prescribed closing date for submission of online application.
- Relevant experience will be counted only after obtaining the minimum qualifying degree.
- Candidates must be citizens of India; certain other categories such as persons who have migrated from Pakistan with intent to settle in India or subjects of Nepal require eligibility certificates from Government of India as specified.
Salary/Stipend
- Pay: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month for the Project Manager post.
- The position is purely on contract basis under the Office of IC&SR, IIT Madras.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted and selected through the following process as per the instructions in the notification:
