Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
- The applicant must have knowledge of local language as per Order Memo No. HFW/NHM-10324(3)/local dated 31.07.2023
- MBBS from MCI recognized institution with 1 year compulsory internship and West Bengal Medical Council Registration
- For OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates, West Bengal Government norms apply
- For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates, submit Disability Certificate at the time of interview
- Economically Weaker Section candidates must submit renewed/validated Income & Asset Certificate No.325-PAR(GB)/1W.B.N.D/2019 in terms of PAR dated 09.07.2019 at the time of interview
- The applicant must be a citizen of India
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Maximum Age: 67 Years (as per HFW-2708/(12)/HFW-MH/2024/Pt-1/350 dated 04.02.2024)
Salary/Stipend
- ₹60,000/- per month (SIC throughout)
- Consolidated Remuneration
- Duty hours: 8 hours
Selection Process
- Walk-in-Interview on 28/11/2025 at 11:30 a.m.
- Reporting Time: 11:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. on 27/11/2025
- Venue: Room No. 254, 2nd Floor, Port Municipal Building, Kolkata City NUHM Society, 5 S.N. Banerjee Road, Kolkata-700013
- The decision of the competent authority regarding the engagement will be final
- The Chief Municipal Health Officer reserves the right to change/modify any of the above conditions
