Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Essential): Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent – full time degree) from a recognized Indian university/institute with minimum 60% marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 55% for SC/PwBD candidates.
CLAT Requirement: Candidates must have appeared for CLAT-2026 (Common Law Admission Test-2026) Post Graduate programme conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. CLAT score of any other year or any other examination will not be considered valid.
Shortlisting Basis: Candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process, as decided by NTPC, based on CLAT-2026 Post Graduate programme performance scores, from among those who apply against this advertisement.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 30 years as on the last date of online application in NTPC. Relaxations in upper age limit are applicable for SC, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD, Ex-servicemen and other eligible categories as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process
Candidates must have valid CLAT-2026 Post Graduate programme scores; CLAT-2026 performance will be used to shortlist candidates for further selection process as decided by NTPC.
NTPC reserves the right to conduct multi-stage selection processes which may comprise application shortlisting/screening (based on qualification, percentage of marks, etc.), written/computer-based test, personal interview or combination of these, and to raise minimum eligibility standards as required.
The mere submission of application and fulfillment of prescribed criteria do not confer any right to be called for further selection; candidature can be cancelled at any stage if eligibility norms are not met or incorrect information is found.
