11. Stenographer Grade-III
- Essential Qualification: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognised Board or University
- Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or in Tamil at 80 w.p.m for 10 minute. The candidates who opt to taken the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Tamil will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on computer
12. Driver
- Essential Qualification:
- Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized board
- Possession of a valid and appropriate driving license from prescribed Government Authority (the candidate will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate committee of Institute/ University)
- Desirable:
- One year trade certificate in the relevant field from ITI
- Experience of Driving in a recognized institution
- Experience of Motor Mechanic work
- Possession of LMV driving licence
13. Skilled Support Staff – I

Selection Process
- For Subject Matter Specialist Posts: Interview
- For Programme Assistant (Computer / Lab Technician), Farm Manager and Assistant: Written test (Degree standard based MCQ) followed by Interview
- For Stenographer Grade-III: Written test (HSC standard based MCQ) and Proficiency test followed by Interview
- For Driver and Skilled Support Staff - I: Proficiency / Skill test followed by Interview
- Eligible candidates will be informed about the date, time and place of interview on TANUVAS website
General Information/Instructions
- The candidate must be a citizen of India
- Local vernacular language (Tamil) is essential
- The staff recruited on the KVK's posts shall have pay scale/ allowances and other service benefits as allowed by ICAR. These positions are 100% funded by ICAR and all expenditure for these positions will be borne out of ICAR fund
- The staff recruited at KVK's will not be transferred elsewhere except within KVKs
- Posts are temporary and are likely to continue as long as sanction of the scheme continuance is available from ICAR. In case of the closure of KVKs, their services shall be terminated automatically
- The staff recruited in KVK's post are not entitled to terminal benefits
- The services of the employees working in the KVKs shall be governed as per the conditions prescribed by the University available at the website www.tanuvas.ac.in
- The University reserves the right to increase/ decrease or withdraw the number of any advertised post(s) under any category at any time without assigning any reason thereof
- All applicants must fulfil the essential requirement of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement
- The application form for submission shall be filled in, complete in all respects, giving correct information. Defective and incomplete application and those with wrong or false information will summarily be rejected
- On appointment the candidate shall furnish an undertaking to serve in the KVK for a minimum period of one year failing which they shall be required to refund the entire amount of salary and allowances received during the period
- The applicants who wish to apply for more than one different post, should submit separate Application forms in separate envelopes accompanied by relevant enclosures and bank draft for each post
- Degree / Diploma Certificates and any other proof should be brought in original at the time of interview. However, self-attested photocopies should be enclosed along with the application
- Candidates who satisfy the conditions prescribed by the University should be prepared to appear for selection process of recruitment at their own cost
- It will be open to the University not to fill up any of the posts now advertised
- Any attempt by the candidate, either directly or indirectly to influence the Selection Committee or other authorities of the University will disqualify the candidate for the post(s) applied
- Candidate requesting leave to complete their on going degree programme will not be considered immediately, since the recruitment is done for immediate need
- Persons who are already working in State or Central Government or any other organization should send their applications through proper channel/Employer
- Advance copies of the application reaching within the prescribe time limit will also be entertained. However, candidates called for the interview must produce No Objection Certificate or original application duly forwarded by the competent authority, failing which he/she will not be allowed to attend the interview
