Eligibility Criteria
- A pass in HSC with science subjects, namely: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; or Physics, Chemistry and Biology;
- Must have passed two years Diploma in Dental Hygienist conducted in Government Medical Institutions under the control of Director of Medical Education and Research (or) in any other Institution recognized by the State or Central Government; and
- He/she should have registered in State Dental Council;
- Provided that candidates with SSLC and certificate course of Dental Hygienist who have passed before publication of Dental Council of India Regulations, 2008 and registered as Dental Hygienist in the Tamil Nadu State Dental Council shall be eligible.
Age Limit (as on 01-07-2025)
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- ST/ SCA / SC / MBC & DNC / BCM / BC: No Maximum Age
- OC - For all categories: 32 Years
- OC - Differently Abled Person: 42 Years
- OC - Ex-Servicemen: 48 Years
- No Maximum age limit shall mean that the applicants should not have completed 60 years of age on the date of Notification (or) at the time of selection / appointment to the post.
Salary
- Scale of pay (Rs.): Rs.35,400 -1,30,400/- (Pay Matrix Level- 11)
Application Fee
- For SC/ SCA/ ST/ DAP Candidates: Rs.300/-
- For Other Candidates: Rs.600/-
- On-line applications once registered / completed will not be allowed to be withdrawn and / or the fee paid towards the registration / application will not be refunded/ adjusted for any reason

Selection Process
- Selection will be made based on the marks scored by the candidates in their academic and technical qualification(s) for the post of Dental Hygienist duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu and satisfaction of the qualification and other conditions stipulated in this Notification.
- There will be no oral test (Interview) for the post.
- The selection will be made for the post, duly following the relevant rules of reservation and communal rotation of Government of Tamil Nadu and other conditions stipulated in this Notification.

- A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number is mandatory for registration and email ID and the given mobile number should be kept active till the declaration of results. MRB will send intimation regarding certificate verification, other Messages etc. only through the registered – mail D.
