UP Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 191 Anganwadi Worker Posts in Raebareli District

The District Programme Officer, Raebareli has invited online applications from women candidates for 191 vacant posts of Anganwadi Karyakartri across 18 Child Development Projects (ICDS) in the urban and rural areas of Raebareli district. Applications must be submitted online at upanganwadibharti.in between 17 July 2026 and 6 August 2026. The minimum qualification required is Intermediate (12th pass), and the age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 1 July 2026.

The village/ward-wise and centre-wise category reservation breakup has been displayed on the notice boards of the District Collectorate, Vikas Bhavan, District Programme Office, all Tehsils, Nagar Palikas, Nagar Panchayats, Development Blocks, and Child Development Project offices, and is also available on upanganwadibharti.in.

Eligibility

• Only women candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha (for rural areas) or the same Ward (for urban areas) for which she is applying.
• The entire selection process will be governed by Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025.

Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri is Intermediate (12th pass) or its equivalent. Candidates with qualifications up to postgraduate level are also eligible to apply. Merit will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. High School (10th) marks will not be included in merit calculation.

• Age will be calculated as on 1 July 2026.
• Only the date of birth recorded in the High School marksheet/certificate will be considered valid for age calculation.

Selection Process

Selection for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri will be made on the basis of merit and category-wise reservation, following this priority order:

Priority Category (a):

1. Widow woman belonging to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
2. Legally divorced or abandoned (deserted) woman belonging to a BPL family, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
3. If no widow/divorced/abandoned woman from a BPL family is available, other women belonging to a BPL family of the same Gram Sabha/Ward.

Priority Category (b) - applicable only if no eligible candidate is found under Category (a):

1. Widow woman belonging to an Above Poverty Line (APL) family, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
2. Legally divorced or abandoned woman belonging to an APL family, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
3. If no widow/divorced/abandoned woman from an APL family is available, other women belonging to an APL family of the same Gram Sabha/Ward.

As per Government Order dated 17.09.2025, two women from the same family cannot be appointed as Anganwadi Karyakartri and Anganwadi Sahayika at the same Anganwadi Centre.

Required Documents

• Self-attested copy of educational qualification certificates/marksheets
• Residence certificate (only online/digitally issued and verifiable through the Tehsil portal is valid)
• Caste certificate, if applicable (only online/digitally issued and verifiable is valid)
• Income certificate issued by a competent authority as per UP Government Order dated 30.09.2021 (as amended), verifiable online
• For widow candidates: death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay, along with a certified copy of the family register
• For divorced/abandoned candidates: a legally valid order issued by a competent court

3. Enter your own name, along with income certificate, caste certificate, and residence certificate details/numbers exactly as issued, to allow online verification.
4. Upload self-attested, clean, and legible scanned copies of all required documents as mentioned in the online form.
5. Review all entered details carefully before final submission.
6. Submit the application before the last date, 6 August 2026 (11:59 PM).

Important Instructions

• Applications will be accepted only through the online mode. Offline or postal applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
• Only residence and caste certificates issued online through the Tehsil digital portal and verifiable online will be accepted.
• Only income certificates issued by a competent authority as per the applicable Government Order, and verifiable online, will be accepted.
• The applicable poverty line (BPL/APL) income limit will be as notified under the Government Order issued by the Samaj Kalyan Anubhag-2, UP Government, dated 14.09.2015 (as amended), separately for rural and urban areas.
• If any error is found in the application, or if any fact, figures, or educational documents submitted are found to be incorrect or forged, the candidature will be rejected.
• The number of vacancies mentioned may increase or decrease.
