Tripura Engineering Service Exam Pattern - Tripura Public Service Commission's Junior Engineer, TES Grade V and Junior Engineer Grade I & II exam pattern details are given below....
Exam Pattern: Tripura public service commission conducts Junior Engineer Combined Competitive exam will carry 500 marks shall consists of 1 (one) compulsory paper titled “General Studies” of one hour duration carrying 100 marks and 2(two) Optional Papers in the appropriate branch of engineering of 3 hours duration carrying 200 marks each.
I. General Studies:
i) Comprehension of a given passage - 20 Marks ii) Usage (corrections) - 10 Marks iii) Vocabulary (synonyms & antonyms, idioms & phrases) - 10 Marks iv) General knowledge - 20 Marks v) Current Affairs - 20 Marks vi) Mental Ability - 20 Marks Total - 100 MarksII. Engineering Subject Paper - I & II (Optional for all Grades/ Ranches): This paper will consists of 200 marks in the duration of 3 hours.
i) 15 questions of 6 marks each having answers restricted to 40 words - 90 Marks ii) 40 multiple choice type questions of 2 marks each - 80 Marks iii) 05 numerical questions of 6 marks each - 30 Marks Total - 200 Marks
