UPSC CPF(AC) exam  Selection Procedure: Central police forces (cpf) Assistant commandants exam every year conducts by union public service commission upsc for the centre forces namely CPF,BSF,ITBP,SSB.The eligible candidates apply through online and offline mode .The selection process details given below.

The upsc cpf selection process conducts in 3 stages.

1)Written Examination: In this exam will comprises 2 papers each of 2hrs time duration ,maximum marks for first paper General ability and Intelligence 250,the questions in this paper will be of objective type questions in Hindi, English languages. The second paper maximum marks 200. Essay, General studies and comprehension are given in this paper .The candidates will be allowed the option of essay writing component in English or Hindi. But the medium of précis writing and comprehension components will be English only.

Note: Evaluation of paper-II will be done only of those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in paper-I

2) Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards: The candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination those are called for physical standards tests. Pregnancy at the time of physical efficiency test (PET) will be disqualified and pregnant female candidates will be rejected.

3) Interview: candidates who are qualified in physical and medical standard tests will be called for Interview/personality test .The interview will carries 150 marks. The short listed candidates in written test including those short listed for Interview provisionally will be issued a detailed application for in which which among other things, they will be required to indicate their preference of Forces. As female candidates are eligible for appointment to CRPF, CISF and SSB only, they will be required to indicate their Preference for CRPF, CISF and SSB only.

4) Final selection: The merit list will be given on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and interview.
