Project Details: ICMR funded project titled "Development and validation of Prediction equations for respiratory impedance by forced oscillation technique in a healthy Indian population - a multicentric cross-sectional study" under Department of Pulmonary Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria
- Option 1: High school or equivalent with five years of experience in Data collection from field or Community (Fieldwork) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification
- Option 2: 12th/Intermediate with science subject. BSc (Social science/Sociology/science) shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years' experience respectively
- Option 3: 12th/Intermediate pass with 3 years of experience in Data collection from field/Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification
- Option 4: B.Sc. with 2 years of experience in Data collection from field/Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification
- Willing to work in the field
Desirable Qualifications
- Master of Public Health Degree/Medical social work/M.Sc. Nursing will be preferred
- Experience in Data collection from field/Community (Field work) or social work from a government institution or recognized institute or handling research projects gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification
- Knowledge of computer applications (Documentary proof required)
- Fluency in local language (Garhwali, English & Hindi)
Age Limit (as on last date of application)
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 28 years
- Age Relaxation: Relaxable to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per government rules
- Additional Relaxation: Age relaxation of 2 years may be given if the candidate has adequate field experience
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- (Fixed)

Contract Duration and Terms
- Initial Contract Period: Six months from the date of appointment
- Extension: May be extended based on performance evaluation report and need of the project with the approval of the Director
- Termination: In case the candidate is not performing well, the candidate can be terminated with a notice of one week
- Job Nature: Temporary basis on contractual appointment under ICMR funded project
- No claim for regular appointment at AIIMS Rishikesh or ICMR or continuation of services in any other project

Important Instructions
- Document Verification: Candidates should submit all certificates/testimonials in original form for verification at the time of the written test/interview. Failure to bring original certificates will result in disqualification
- Experience Certificate: Should clearly state the nature of work during the period of employment. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification
- Government Employees: Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/Organizations are not eligible to apply. No-Objection Certificate required from current employer for Govt. Servants only
- Reserved Category Certificate: Candidates must produce their latest Caste Validity Certificate. OBC candidates must possess a latest valid non-creamy layer certificate in Government of India format for current financial year. PWD candidates shall produce latest disability certificate issued by a medical board with not less than 40% disability
- False Information: Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to attend interview/personal discussion and candidates have to arrange transport/accommodation themselves
- Joining Requirements: At the time of joining duty, candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications, Aadhar card, NOC from present employer, experience certificates, two passport photos, other relevant certificates along with one set of Xerox
- Notice Period: The appointee may be relieved from the current job position with one-month prior notice, failing to do so may be held responsible for paying one-month salary
- Project Closure: If the project is not extended, the contract will be terminated without any notice and the candidate cannot claim any right or file any litigation regarding employment protection
- Selection Authority: The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any specific reason
Job Responsibilities
- To do field visits and field-related activities such as household visits in Dehradun city and periphery or other regions
- Interviewing subjects, counselling and recruitment of study participants
- Taking consent from participants
- Data collection and data entering
- Record keeping and maintenance
- Implementation of the study activities
- Other project related activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator (PI)
- Accomplish all the work as and when assigned towards project activities
