- PG Diploma / Degree in Journalism / Mass Media OR Graduate with minimum two years of journalistic experience (Journalistic experience to be desirable for candidates in difficult and border areas like North-Eastern States, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman, Diu, Kutch etc)
- Candidate should reside at the respective District Headquarters or within a radius of 10 Kms
- Knowledge of computers and word processing
- Possession of news gathering devices.
