Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: M.A. in Museology from a recognized University. Preference will be given to candidates with an experience of at least 1 (one) month of working as an intern or in any curatorial capacity in any museum under the Central or any State Government. OR Post Graduate degree in History (Ancient)/Anthropology/Archaeology/Sanskrit from a recognized University. Preference will be given to candidates with a one-year PG Diploma in Museology from a recognized institute.
- Essential qualifications: Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent resident of Assam.
- Experience: Preference for at least 1 month experience as intern or curatorial capacity in museum (for M.A. Museology) or one-year PG Diploma in Museology (for other PG degrees).
Salary/Stipend
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/-
- Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
- Pay Band: Pay Band - 4
- Other allowances as admissible to Assam State Government employees
