Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential Qualification: Graduation with atleast 60% marks.
  • Desirable Qualification: MBA/PGDM in any stream from reputed national/ international institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of total post-qualification experience out of which minimum 5 years should be energy sector experience in startup ecosystem, incubation, entrepreneurship support, and innovation domains.
  • Candidates with the following skill sets and attributes will be preferred:
  • a) Deep understanding of startup incubation, innovation and deep tech ecosystems and entrepreneurship.
  • b) Experience in managing funds in the context of government programs, innovation hubs, or similar institutions.
  • c) Strong track record in developing and managing high-value partnerships across corporate, investor, and government domains.
  • d) Familiarity with procurement, audit processes, and statutory requirements.
  • e) Ability to design and execute collaborative programs that deliver measurable value to startups and ecosystem partners.
  • f) Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • g) Strategic mindset with the ability to translate opportunities into sustainable initiatives.
  • h) Ability to engage with founders, mentors, and technical experts.
  • i) Demonstrated experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, and resource mobilization.
  • j) Familiarity with governance, procurement, financial compliance, and operational excellence.
  • k) Ability to work closely with the board and external stakeholders to shape and execute strategic plans.
  • l) Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
  • m) Strong command over English language.

Salary/ Stipend

  • Monthly Consolidated Amount of INR 1.5 – 2.00 lacs per month.
  • The final remuneration amount for the selected candidate shall be decided by the management based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, last drawn salary and suitability for the position.

Selection Process

  • In-order to restrict the number of candidates for shortlisting process, if so required, the management reserves the right to conduct multi-stage selection process which may comprise of application short listing/screening (based on qualification/percentage of marks, no. of years of post- qualification experience, etc.), written/ computer-based test, personal interview etc. or combination of the above or to raise the minimum eligibility standards/ criteria, as per requirement.

General Information / Instructions

  • 1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
  • 2. All qualifications should be from Universities/ Institutions recognized and approved in India or abroad.
  • 3. All computations of age, experience requirement, qualification, etc. shall be done w.r.t. the last date of receipt of online application as mentioned in the advertisement.
  • 4. Depending on the requirement, the management reserves the right to cancel/ restrict/ curtail/ increase the number of vacancies, if need arises, without any further notice and without assigning any reason thereof.
  • 5. Management reserves the right to cancel/stop the application process and/or selection process there under without giving any reason whatsoever.
  • 6. It is pertinent to mention that the mere fact that a candidate is fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him/her the right to be shortlisted/ called for written test/interview or to be considered further for the selection process.
  • 7. Place of Posting shall be Centre of Excellence for Energy Transition (CoEET), APEPDCL, Training Centre, Sagar Nagar, Visakhapatnam.
  • 8. While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned above, as on the specified dates and that the particulars furnished are correct in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/ false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/ her candidature will stand automatically cancelled. If any of the above shortcomings are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated without any notice. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate.
  • 9. Any proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/ or an application in response there to can be instituted only in Vijayawada and courts/ tribunals/ forums at Vijayawada only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause/dispute.
  • 10. In case of any ambiguity/ dispute arises on account of interpretation inversions other than English, the English Version will prevail.
  • 11. Applicants found suitable shall be called/ intimated for further selection process, the venue and time for which will be intimated through the website and email.

  • ii) The applicants shall invariably fill all the relevant fields in the Application form. Immediately on submission of application form through online, the Applicant will get an acknowledgement in the form of a downloadable pdf document.
  • iii) Candidates are required to retain a photocopy of application form with Reference ID for future reference.
  • iv) The applicant is required to visit the website "APEPDCL Website www.apeasternpower.com" regularly to keep himself/ herself updated until completion of the selection process. The APEPDCL Website information is final for all correspondence.
  • v) Submission of online application by the candidate shall be taken as authentication that the candidate has read the notification and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down therein.
  • vi) Applicant must compulsorily fill-up all relevant fields of application and submit application through online mode only. Applications sent other than the Online mode will not be entertained, and they will be deemed to be rejected, and no further correspondence will be entertained on those applications.
  • vii) Incomplete/ incorrect application form will be summarily rejected.
  • viii) The information if any furnished by the candidate subsequently in any form will not be entertained by CoEET under any circumstances.
  • ix) The claim of the candidates with regard to the date of birth, educational/ technical qualifications and community are accepted only provisionally on the information furnished by them in their application form and is subject to the verification and satisfaction of CoEET.
  • x) Mere admission to any test or inclusion of the name of a candidate in a merit list will not confer on the candidate any right for appointment. The candidature is therefore provisional at all the stages and CoEET reserves the right to reject candidature at any stage of the selection even after the advice has been made.
  • xi) If the particulars furnished in the online application form do not tally with the original documents produced by the Candidates and not falling under the eligibility criteria, their candidature will be rejected.
