Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- For Junior Clerk/Cashier: As per R.186(1)(ii) of Cooperation Act, candidates must possess SSLC or equivalent qualification along with Personal Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation) conducted by State Co-operative Union as basic qualification.
- For candidates from Kasaragod District: For appointment in cooperative societies/banks in the district, GDC/DCM conducted by Karnataka State Cooperative Federation or Junior Diploma in Co-operation (JDC) conducted by Kerala State Cooperative Union will be accepted as basic qualification.
- Alternative Qualifications: B.Com degree with cooperation as an optional subject, or degree from any recognized university, or Higher Diploma in Cooperation (ADC or ADC & BM conducted by Kerala State Cooperative Union, or ADC or ADCM of National Council for Co-operative Training (one year regular course), or B.Sc (Cooperation & Banking) from Kerala Agricultural University.
Salary/Stipend
- Scale of Pay: Rs. 17,590 - 43,450

Selection Process
- Method of Appointment: Direct appointment based on OMR examination conducted by Cooperation Service Examination Board and interview conducted by the respective cooperative societies.
- Examination Pattern: The examination conducted by Cooperation Service Examination Board will contain 100 questions with 1 mark each.
- Interview Marks: Maximum 20 marks are allocated for interview for candidates in the qualified list of a society/bank. Out of this, minimum 4 marks will be given for appearing in the interview and remaining 16 marks depend on the candidate's performance.
- Appointing Authority: Respective cooperative societies/banks
- Rank List Preparation: The examination board will prepare the rank list based on the marks obtained.
