Educational Qualification:
- Essential: Graduate in Social work/Sociology/Psychology/Public Health/Counseling from a recognized university OR PG Diploma in Counseling Communication. At least 1 year of working experience with the Govt./NGO preferably in the field of Women & Child Development.

Selection Process for DCPU Nadia Counselor Recruitment 2026
Candidates will be selected through the following stages:
- Stage 1: Written Examination (80 marks on English, Bengali, Arithmetic, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Child Protection related matters)
- Stage 2: Computer Test (10 marks)
- Stage 3: Viva Voce (10 marks) and Document Verification
General Instructions for DCPU Nadia Counselor Recruitment 2026
- There will be a written test of 80 marks for all posts on English, Bengali, Arithmetic, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Child Protection related matters etc.
- There will be a computer test of 10 marks for the post of Counselor.
- There will be a viva voce of 10 marks for Counselor.
- The Applicants have to submit their self-signed applications along with relevant documents in the dropbox or through post to the Social Welfare Section, Office of The District Magistrate, Nadia, Krishnanagar, Pin 741101 from 01/01/2026 to 31/01/2026, 5 pm in a sealed envelope super scribed "application for the post of Counselor at CHG, Nadia."
- Any application received beyond that time will not be considered.
- District Level Selection Committee reserves the right for rejection of any application, not duly filled in or received after due date & time or without relevant documents. It also reserves the right to cancel/postpone/suspend any engagement to any aforesaid post at any point of time.
- The Admit cards for relevant examinations shall be uploaded in the website http://nadia.gov.in. Candidates are advised to keep track of the website.
- Candidature of any candidate shall be rejected straightway if found not eligible at any stage even after appearance in Viva-Voce Test & Computer Test.
- Each engagement will be based on execution of prior contract valid for one year having terms and conditions as directed by Department of WCD & SW, Govt. of WB. Under no circumstances this engagement shall mean or lead to regular appointment in the establishment of the Government.
- No T.A / D.A will be given for appearing Viva-Voce Test & Computer Test.
