Eligibility Criteria

• Essential qualifications: Practice as an advocate
• Experience:
  • Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Minimum 10 years practice in Session Court
  • Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Minimum 07 years practice in Session Court
  • Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Minimum 0 to 03 years practice in Judicial Magistrate level court
• Desirable: Knowledge of Information Technology and Legal Software Tools

Salary/Stipend

• Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 65,000/-
• Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 45,000/-
• Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 25,000/-

• Interview by selection committee chaired by Principal District & Sessions Judge/Chairman, DLSA Mandla
