Eligibility Criteria
- Full Time / Part Time Junior Specialist: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university with 3 years’ experience after PG Degree and 5 years’ experience after PG Diploma.
- Full Time Senior Specialist: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university with 5 years’ experience post PG.
- Part Time Specialist: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university with 3 years’ experience after PG Degree or 5 years’ experience after PG Diploma.
- Senior Resident: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in concerned branch from recognized university and registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

Age Limit (as on date of interview)
- Full Time / Part Time Specialists: Not exceeding 67 years as on the date of interview.
- Senior Resident (03 years): Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview.
Application Fee
- Application Fee: Rs. 250/- by Demand Draft (Non-Refundable) drawn in favour of “ESI Fund A/c No. 1” payable at SBI, Jammu.
- No application fee for female candidates for Specialist posts.
- For Senior Resident posts, no application fee for SC/ST/PWD and female candidates.
- Candidates working in Government Service must produce NOC from their department at the time of interview.
Salary/Stipend
- Full Time Junior Specialist: Rs. 1,06,000/- per month as consolidated remuneration.
- Full Time Senior Specialist: Rs. 1,23,000/- per month as consolidated remuneration.
- Part Time Contractual Specialist: Rs. 60,000/- per month as fixed consolidated remuneration for 16 hours per week, plus Rs. 15,000/- per month as consolidated remuneration for emergency call visiting charges and Rs. 800/- per hour for every additional hour after 16 hours per week.
- Senior Resident (03 years): Total emoluments per month in Level 11 as per 7th CPC with minimum pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus allowances as per rules.
- Posts are purely contractual and do not carry benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance/Benefits, Seniority or Promotion.
Selection Process
- Selection will be through walk-in-interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Bari-Brahmana, Jammu on 19/12/2025.
- Documents will be scrutinized for eligibility up to 16/12/2025 (through email or physical form) and only eligible candidates will be called for interview.
- The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to fill all or none of the vacancies, alter the date or cancel the interview without prior notice.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- For contractual posts, absence from work exceeding 07 days without prior approval will be treated as voluntary abandonment, leading to automatic termination as per terms.

- Selected candidates must have professional indemnity policy with minimum sum assured as specified and submit proof within 7 days of engagement (for Specialists).
- Selected candidates must deposit Rs. 20,000/- as refundable security by Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque in favour of “ESI Fund A/C No. 1” at joining and sign an Agreement on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper as per ESIC norms.
