General Information / Instructions
- 1. Above positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis with co-terminus with the project. The posts will be offered initially for a period of one year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and further extendable based on periodic review and satisfactory performance for the remaining period of the project.
- 2. Selected YP-I will be engaged in activities pertaining to survey, collection and compilation of field data/information for the assigned districts, collection of primary and secondary data from the study area, preparation of presentations and writing of reports.
- 3. If the candidate intends to apply for more than one location, he/she should clearly mention the location name in the application form. They need not submit multiple applications. Initially, candidates will be placed in the respective district of study area. After completion of field work he/she has to report to CCPI at ICAR-NBSS&LUP, Regional Centre, Udaipur.
- 4. Candidates are instructed to submit their application as per the attached proforma (annexure-I) on or before the deadline (25th January 2026), preferably through E-mail to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected].
- 5. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through E-mail and would bring their complete bio-data/curriculum vitae with one photograph and duly self-attested certificates and mark sheets (From Class X onwards) along with original certificates in support of qualification, age, experience certificate and no objection certificate from their current employer at the time of interview.
- 6. Shortlisted candidates are required to report for verification of these documents at 10:00 AM on the date of interview which will be informed in due course. - 7. Shortlisted candidates whose near/distant relative(s) is an employee of the ICAR-NBSS&LUP, has to declare it and communicate this office as per format given below (Annexure-II). Such declaration must reach to the undersigned by post or through e-mail to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected] well before the date of interview. Candidates having no near/ distant relative(s) working at ICAR-NBSS&LUP will also furnish a declaration (format in Annexure-II) before the date of interview.
- 8. No TA/DA will be borne by the Institute for the shortlisted candidates to attend the interview.
- 9. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification and if shortlisted, the candidate will not be interviewed by the board.
- 10. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this Institute or in ICAR. Non-maintenance of the discipline and failure to perform the assigned duties will make the YP-I liable for termination during the appointment period as per ICAR rules.
- 11. In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Udaipur court only.

- Original documents will be verified at the time of interview. Therefore, shortlisted candidates will be required to carry their recent bio-data in the enclosed format along with original copies of the relevant documents.
- If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims during screening or at later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected.
- Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through E-mail to appear the interview. The venue of the interview will be the ICAR-NBSS&LUP, Regional Centre, Udaipur - 313001 (Rajasthan).
