Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ selection is based on shortlisting from online applications followed by an interview, with final merit purely from interview performance. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ follows a two-stage process: a written test (with discipline-specific, aptitude and in some cases descriptive sections) and a personal interview. Final panels for ‘SC’ posts use a weighted combination of written test and interview scores, with clear qualifying marks and tie-breaking rules.

Q9. How do candidates apply online for SAC:01:2026?

Candidates must register or update their profile in the designated ISRO Live Register portal under the Career section, then apply through SAC’s recruitment portal within the given window.
