Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): Bachelor's Degree (Three-year duration) from a recognised University with not less than 60% marks/6.32 CGPA
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Commercial Practice): First Class Diploma in Commercial Practice (Three years duration) from a State Board of Technical Education
- Candidates who have acquired Degree/Diploma before April 2021, those appearing for final year exam and result awaiting candidates are not eligible to apply
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973 or having one year or more experience from any institution as Apprentice are not eligible to apply
- Candidates who have completed five years from the month and year of passing as specified in the Degree/Diploma certificate or if they cross 5 years after acquiring the qualification while empanelled/waitlisted for engagement, will not be considered for Apprenticeship training
- Candidates qualified from recognized Universities/State Board of Technical Education under Southern Region of BoAT (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry) will be given priority
Salary/Stipend
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9000/- per month
- Technician Apprentice: Rs. 8000/- per month

Selection Process
- The selection will be based on the highest marks scored by the candidates in the relevant examination with due weightage to reservation categories
- The induction of apprentices against the 2025-26 training positions shall be strictly based on the position of the candidate in the panel subject to availability of vacancies and validity of the panel
How to Apply
- Applications will be received from the candidates only on the day of selection drive on 29.12.2025
- Candidates have to register online in the Ministry of Education NATS 2.0 portal, through the website www.nats.education.gov.in
- Candidates have to visit the VSSC pavilion on 29.12.2025 at the venue along with ORIGINAL Documents and self-attested copies of Graduation/Diploma Certificate (Provisional/Final), Consolidated Mark list, proof of date of birth (SSLC/SSC/AISSE/ICSE), Caste/Community certificate (if belongs to SC/ST), Non-Creamy layer certificate (if belongs to OBC), Income & Asset Certificate issued by Tahsildar in the format prescribed by Govt. of India order, 2019 for the financial year 2024-25 (if belongs to EWS), Valid Disability certificate (if PWBD candidate), Experience Certificate (if any) and one passport size photograph
- Candidates will be provided Application forms for consideration of Apprenticeship after scrutiny of supporting documents with respect to educational qualifications and other claims
- The duly filled in form along with copies of certificates / testimonials to be handed over to VSSC officials at the time of Selection Drive
- Venue: VSSC Guest House, ATF Area, Veli, Near Veli Church, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala
General Information/Instructions
- Only Indian nationals need to apply
- Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment act of 1973, for which they should execute a contract in the NATS 2.0 portal immediately after induction into the training
- Mere completion of one year Apprenticeship training in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre or its Units under Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space will not confer any right for permanent employment in any of the ISRO Centres/Units
- Canteen and transport facilities are admissible during the period of training and the candidate has to arrange facility for accommodation by his/her own
- No interim Correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
- Where a University mentions both CGPA and percentage of marks in its Degree Certificate or Consolidated Mark-sheet, then at least one criteria (either CGPA or percentage) should meet the eligibility norms
- Conversion of CGPA into percentage of marks is not permitted to determine eligibility, regardless of whether any conversion formula is prescribed by the University concerned
- The same criteria apply mutatis mutandis in cases where only percentage of marks is mentioned in the Degree Certificate/Consolidated Mark-sheet
- Combining of Apprenticeship with other institutions are not permitted
- The no. of positions/vacancies may likely to change
