Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: MBBS from a recognized university.
- Must have completed one year internship not before 2 years as on date of interview.
- Enrolled with Delhi Medical Council.
- The candidate must not have completed 01 years Junior Residency in any Govt. hospital in India.
- Reservation to Physically handicapped candidates will be allowed as per Rule.
Salary/ Stipend
- Pay Matrix 10 of 7th CPC with basic of Rs. 56,100/- per month plus other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit (as on date of interview)
- 30 years for General candidates.
- 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
- 33 years for OBC candidates.
Under relaxation provisions (if fresh candidates not available): Upper age limit 40 years.

Selection Process

General Information/ Instructions
- Purely Adhoc basis for a period of 89 days or till the regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier.
- Hostel accommodation is compulsory for Junior Residents.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- For OBC (Non Creamy layer belonging to Delhi only) & EWS category, certificate should be valid and issued by Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
- Services of Adhoc JRs likely to be terminated upon joining of Medical officers & Regular JRs through Govt. of NCT of Delhi even if 89 days tenure not completed.
- Relaxation provisions apply if fresh candidates not available (as per circular dated 10/06/2011): Upper age 40 years, PG doctors allowed, previous JRs allowed if no fresh available (no extension beyond one year under relaxation).
- Application form attached with notice; no form provided at interview.
