Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification for Sr. IT Assistant: (a) Bachelor's / Master’s in IT / Computer Science (b) Microsoft Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Desirable Qualification for Sr. IT Assistant: Course in Data Analysis
- Experience for Sr. IT Assistant: 3+ years
- Qualification for IT Assistant: (a) Science Graduate (b) Knowledge of MS office
- Experience for IT Assistant: Nil
Salary/ Stipend
- Sr. IT Assistant: 35000/- per month
- IT Assistant: 27000/- per month

General Information / Instructions
- The qualification of candidates must be from Govt. University or Govt. recognized University/ Institutions.
- Applicants with last semester result awaited or incomplete degrees are not eligible to apply.
- Name of the Applicant, Date of Birth in application form must be same as mentioned in the Aadhar Card.
- Applicants are required to go through the Eligibility criteria carefully and ascertain themselves regarding their eligibility. The same is available at http://nielit.gov.in/delhi
- Candidates interested to apply for the different positions are required to submit separate application for each post and requisite fee.
- Applicants must bring all the original documents, self-Attested photocopies of Marksheets/degrees/testimonials/post qualification experience certificates (including the Experience letter of the current place of working), Valid photo ID on the day of the Document Verification for verification purpose otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in the interaction. The cutoff date for calculating age, qualifications, experience etc. will be as on 29-01-2026. In case, walk in date is extended, the date of determining eligibility will not change.
- Applicants are required to submit the filled registration form along with the documents on the day of walk-in at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, IETE, Institutional Area, 16/1-2, Pankha Road, Near Sagarpur Police Station, D Block, Janakpuri, New Delhi 110058 as per attached schedule. No other mode of application will be accepted in any case.
- NIELIT will also create a panel for contractual deployment and the candidates will be selected for deployment on contract from the panel as and when required. The selected candidates from the panel will be deployed initially for the period of six months (which may be further extended based on requirements/performance of the candidate). NIELIT does not guarantee to deploy all shortlisted candidates from panel.
- Empanelment means the shortlisted candidates will be in the panel of NIELIT for one year. They may be deployed in specific Govt. department/NIELIT as per department requirements purely on contract basis. Mere empanelment does not ensure deployment in any department nor provide any right to candidate to claim for deployment.
- Only those candidates who deposit requisite registration fee of Rs.750/-, clear document verification and successful interaction will be empanelled.
- Canvassing/trying to influence NIELIT employees to secure the job in any manner shall disqualify the candidate.
- NIELIT Delhi Centre has the right to accept or reject the application without assigning any reason thereof.
- No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for appearing for the interaction/Document verification etc.
- Applicants are advised to visit the website of NIELIT Delhi centre http://nielit.gov.in/delhi for schedule of Document verification/written test/interaction or any updates.
- No separate communication shall be made in any other form.
- Registration Fee deposited by the applicants will not be refunded in any circumstances.
- In case of any disputes, Legal jurisdiction will be Delhi only.
- The candidates selected /empaneled through this advertisement will purely be based on the requirement of client organization & the candidates so selected / empaneled will not hold any right for any sort of appointment in NIELIT i.e. contractual or regular. Upon selection, an undertaking to this effect needs to be furnished by the candidate before being placed at client organization/NIELIT.
- NIELIT reserves the right to cancel the empanelment at any stage without assigning any reason.

How to Apply
- Candidates are requested to ensure their presence as per above schedule and must bring along following documents (original and one self attested copy):- i. Application form in given format duly filled ii. CV (Bio-Data) having details of qualifications (with percentage), skill, experience, job profile and projects. iii. Original and one self-attested copy of all documents related to qualification and experience certificate (including degree and the Experience letter from the current place of working) iv. Last three month Payslip or Bank Statement of last three months showing salary credited. v. One latest color passport size photograph vi. Valid Govt. issued photo ID i.e Aadhar card, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID e.t.c.
