Eligibility Criteria
Junior Research Fellow
- Essential Qualification: M.E/M.Tech./M.S in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Biomedical Engineering/Digital Signal Processing/Signal Processing or allied areas with minimum of 1st class in B.E/B.Tech & M.E/M.Tech.
- Additional Requirement: GATE/NET qualification is mandatory.
- Age: Preferably below 35 Years
Research Associate – I
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Microelectronics & VLSI Design or Signal Processing or M.E/M.Tech having 3 years of research experience with at least one research paper in SCI/SCIE Journal (Specialized in Design and Development of Instrumentation Amplifier for EEG Signal Acquisition or FPGA implementation of EEG Signal Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning Algorithms)
Research Associate – II
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Microelectronics & VLSI Design or Signal Processing or M.E/M.Tech having 3 years of research experience with at least one research paper in SCI/SCIE Journal (Specialized in Design and Development of Instrumentation Amplifier for EEG Signal Acquisition or FPGA implementation of EEG Signal Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning Algorithms)
Research Associate - III
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Microelectronics & VLSI Design or Signal Processing or M.E/M.Tech having 3 years of research experience with at least one research paper in SCI/SCIE Journal (Specialized in Design and Development of Instrumentation Amplifier for EEG Signal Acquisition or FPGA implementation of EEG Signal Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning Algorithms)
Job Role and Skill Requirements
- Strong knowledge in Circuit Design for Biomedical Signal Acquisition and EDA Tools
- Strong knowledge in implementation of EEG Signal Processing and Machine/Deep learning algorithms in Python/MATLAB and FPGA
- Good Technical and Communication Skills.
Salary / Stipend
- Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 38,000/- per month + HRA as per norms
- Research Associate – I: Rs. 58,000/- per month + HRA as per norms
- Research Associate – II: Rs. 61,000/- per month + HRA as per norms
- Research Associate - III: Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA as per norms

General Information / Instructions
- The duration of post will be initially for one year and which may be extended upto the duration of project based on the satisfactory performance. The fellowship may be terminated if performance of candidate is not satisfactory.
- The post created under the Chips to Startup(C2S) Programme- Category-III, MeiTY, Govt. of India is purely on temporary basis and neither MeiTY nor the Institute would have any liability whatsoever for sustaining temporary staff recruited under the above mentioned project, after its completion/termination.
- Only those candidates who are present before the reporting time on scheduled date will be considered for Interview. Candidates reporting after the scheduled reporting time for document verification shall NOT be eligible to appear for the Interview.
- The Junior Research Fellow/Research Associate-I/I/III with M.Tech/M.E/M.S will have option to register for Ph.D. program of institute; the candidate must meet the essential qualifications and qualify written examination & interview of Ph.D. admission of institute.
- NIT Uttarakhand has right to cancel the recruitment for the aforesaid post at any time without providing any clarifications/information.
- No interim correspondence will be entertained and canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-In-Interview.
