Eligibility Criteria
- The qualifications for appointment of Assistant Professor (on Guest basis) shall be the same as those prescribed for regular appointment of Assistant Professor in the UGC Regulations.
- As per the University rules, minimum API Score prescribed for shortlisting is 55 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and 50 for ST/SC/PwBD candidates.
- Important instructions with respect to API score are attached, based upon which requisite declaration of API score is to be done in the application through the Google Form.
- Documents to be uploaded in support of the API score should be in a single file in PDF format.
- As per revised guidelines for appointment of Assistant Professor (on Guest basis), the individual to be appointed should not have teaching assignment in any other institution.
- Superannuated teachers will be considered for engagement on Guest basis subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Salary/Stipend
- The Honorarium of Assistant Professor (on Guest basis) shall be Rs. 1,500/- per lecture.
- The Honorarium is subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
- Benefits of allowances, pension, gratuity, leave, etc. are not admissible to Assistant Professor (on Guest basis) as admissible to regular teachers.
Age Limit
- Maximum age limit for superannuated teachers to be considered for engagement on Guest basis: 70 years.
