Siddharthnagar Anganwadi Bharti 2026: The District Program Officer's Office, Siddharthnagar has issued a notification (Letter No. C-1262/District Program Officer/Anganwadi Worker Selection/Notification/2026-27, dated 07.07.2026) for the recruitment of 353 vacant Anganwadi Worker posts in various Child Development Project areas of the district. A total of 353 Anganwadi worker positions are vacant across 15 child development projects/areas in Siddharthnagar district. Category-wise details are provided in the table below.

Siddharthnagar Anganwadi Worker Recruitment 2026: Eligibility

• Only female candidates will be eligible to apply for this post.
• Widow/legally divorced/abandoned woman, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas), belonging to a family living below the poverty line, will be given first preference.
• If a widow/abandoned woman living below the poverty line is not found, then preference will be given to another woman living below the poverty line.
• In case of non-availability of candidates as mentioned above, women residents of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas) and belonging to families living above the poverty line can apply.
• Applications made by the same candidate for more than one centre or post will not be valid.
• Only a maximum of two women from a family will be appointed to the post of Anganwadi worker/assistant.

Educational Qualification

• The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi worker will be Intermediate (12th) or equivalent.
• The maximum educational qualification will be valid up to Postgraduate and the merit will be prepared on this basis.

Age Limit

• The minimum age for the post of Anganwadi worker is 18 years and the maximum age is 35 years .
• Candidate must be 18 years of age as on 01.07.2026 (reference date of minimum age).
• Regarding age, only the date of birth mentioned in the high school mark sheet/certificate will be valid.

Salary

The official notification does not mention the salary/honorarium for the post of Anganwadi worker.

Selection Process

• The above preference order (widow/divorcee/abandoned, poverty line status) will be followed in the selection.

• Income Certificate – Issued from the competent level and verifiable online in accordance with Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Ra0-9 dated 30.09.2021 (as amended) of Revenue Section-9 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh
• For Widow: Death Certificate (issued by Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Municipal Body) and certified copy of Family Register
• For divorced/abandoned women: Legal order issued by a competent court
• Self-signed, clean and legible copy of all documents (for online upload)
