Eligibility Criteria
- Chief Scientist (Forestry):
- Master’s or Ph.D in Forestry/Ecology/Environmental Science/Wildlife Science/Natural Resource Management or equivalent
- Minimum 13 years experience in forestry, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem assessment, or environmental planning
- Experience in conducting EIA studies for hydropower, irrigation, ports, airports etc.
- At least 3 years experience in the grade of ₹70,000-2,00,000 (Revised IDA) or equivalent
- Chief Scientist (Fisheries & Aquatic Ecology):
- Master’s or Ph.D in Fisheries Science/Aquatic Ecology/Zoology or equivalent
- Minimum 13 years experience in fisheries resource assessment, aquatic biodiversity, aquatic ecology
- Experience in conducting EIA studies for various infrastructure projects
- At least 3 years experience in the grade of ₹70,000-2,00,000 (Revised IDA) or equivalent
Age Limit (as on 30-11-2025)
- Maximum Age: 56 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen)
