- For Assistant Grade 03: Practical/Skill test in Hindi typing (5000 KEY depressions per hour)
- Final selection based on merit combining minimum educational qualification marks (60% weightage) and practical/skill test marks (40% weightage)
- For Servant: Selection based on merit in 8th class examination marks on category-wise basis
- Merit list issued at double the vacancy strength; remaining candidates kept on waiting list valid for 1 year
