Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- For Non-ITI Category: Should have passed Madhyamik (class X std or equivalent) as on closing date of application with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with duration as marks in Mathematics and Science each
- For ITI Category: Should have passed relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment with duration as per the Apprentices Act 1961 plus passed Madhyamik / Class X std or equivalent (Minimum 50% aggregate marks both in Matriculate & ITI)
- The candidate should possess the qualification as on the closing date of the online application
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: Minimum age for an apprentice is 14 years
- Maximum Age: 18 years for designated trades related to hazardous industries, as per section 3(a) of the Apprentice Act, 1961 and amendments thereof
- Upper Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years

- Online applications from Indian citizens shall be invited for engagement of 59th batch (for Non-ITI & ITI Category) of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendment thereof in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different states across India
- The number of vacancies is approximately 3979 (1136 Non-ITI and 2843 Ex-ITI category) in the Ordnance Factories
- The purpose of exercise is to promote the flagship program of the Government of India i.e. Skill India Mission
