DSC – SGT, LP, School Asst, PET Eligibility Details: District Selection Committee, Government of Andhra Pradesh usually conducts teacher recruitment test to recruit the School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers, Language Pandits, and Physical Education Teachers. The following are the eligibility details to apply the vacancy.

Eligibility Details:

1. Age limit : Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age is of 39 years. Age is relaxable for reserved candidates as follows…
SC/ST/BC:  44 years
PWD: 49 years.

2. Educational Qualification:

I.  School Assistant: The candidates who are applying for the school assistant vacancy needs to possess APTET(Paper-I)  pass certificate/ Memorandum of marks.

(i) School Assistant (Mathematics): Candidates must possess a bachelor degree with Mathematics/applied mathematics/statistics as main subject or one of three equal option subjects and B.Ed with mathematics as methodology subject.

(ii) School Assistant (Physical Sciences): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with atleast two of the following subjects as optional subjects (i.e) physics /applied physics/engineering physics & instrumentation/Electronics/Computer science and chemistry/applied chemistry/Industrial chemistry/pharmaceutical chemistry/Medicinal chemistry/Biochemistry/Geology as one of the main subject and B.Ed degree with physical science/physics/chemistry/science as methodology subject.

(iii) School Assistant (Biological Science): Candidates must possess a bachelor degree with botany and zoology or as optional subjects in Genetics/Biochemistry/Environmental sciences/Microbiology/Bio-technology/Industrial microbiology/Agriculture/Food technology/Fisheries/Nutrition/Geology/Sericulture/Horticulture/Forestry/Poultry and B.Ed degree with Biological science/Natural science/Science/Botany/Zoology as methodology subject.

(iv) School Assistant (Social Studies): Candidates must possess a bachelor degree with any two of the following subjects as optional subjects or one of them as main and any other one as a subsidiary subject (i.e) History/ Economics/ Geography/political science/public administration/sociology/commerce/politics/Social anthropology/Ancient Indian History culture & Archeaology/Anthropology/social work/philosophy/psychology and B.Ed degree with social studies/social sciences/Geography/History/politics political science/Economics as methodology subject.

Or

B.com with any four of the following six subjects
(i) Economics/Business Economics (ii) Business organization and Management (iii) statistics/Business statistics/Quantitative techniques (iv) Financial services, banking and insurance (v) Accountancy/Financial accounting (vi) Fundamentals of Information technology.

(v) School Assistant (English): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with English as main subject/post graduate degree in English and B.Ed degree in English as a methodology subject.

(vi) School Assistant (Telugu): Candidates must possess a bachelor degree with Telugu as main subject/Bachelor degree in oriental language in Telugu/post graduate degree in Telugu/Telugu pandit training and B.Ed with Telugu as methodology subject.

(vii) School Assistant (Hindi): Candidates must possess Bachelor degree with Hindi as full elective subject/Bachelor degree in oriental language in Hindi/Praveena of dakshina bharat hindi prachar sabha or vidwan of Hindi prachara sabha/Post graduate degree in Hindi with training qualification/any equivalent qualification in Hindi(B.A degree standard).

(viii) School Assistant (Urdu): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Urdu as main subject/ bachelor degree in oriental language with urdu/post graduate degree in urdu/urdu pandit training and B.Ed with Urdu as methodology subject.

(ix) School Assistant (Kannada): Candidates must possess the bachelor degree with kannada as main subject/bachelor degree in oriental language with kannada/post graduate degree in kannada/kannada pandit training and B.Ed with kannada as a methodology subject.

(x) School Assistant (Tamil): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Tamil as main subject/ Bachelor degree in oriental language with Tamil/Post graduate degree in Tamil/Tamil pandit training and B.Ed with Tamil as a methodology subject.

(xi) School Assistant (oriya): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with oriya as main subject/bachelor degree in oriental language with oriya/post graduate degree in oriya/oriya pandit training and B.Ed with oriya as a methodology subject.

(xii) School Assistant (Marati): Candidates must possess the bachelor degree with Marati as main subject/bachelor degree in oriental language with marati/post graduate degree in Marati/Marati pandit training and B.Ed with Marati as a methodology subject.

(xiii) School Assistant (Sanskrit): Candidates must possess Sanskrit as main subject/bachelor degree in oriental Language with Sanskrit/post graduate degree in Sanskrit/Sanskrit pandit training and B.Ed with Sanskrit as methodology subject.

(xiv) School Assistant (physical education): Candidates must possess a bachelor degree in physical education/bachelor degree/Master degree/equivalent qualification.

II. Secondary Grade Teacher: The candidates who are applying for the secondary grade teacher needs to possess APTET(Paper-I) pass certificate/Memorandum of marks and also intermediate certificate issued by Board of Intermediate Education(AP), two year D.Ed certificate issued by Director of Government examinations(AP) or its equivalent qualification recognized by NCTE.

III. Language Pandit: The candidates who are applying for Language Pandit needs to possess APTET(Paper-II) pass certificate/Memorandum of marks.

(i) Language Pandit (Telugu): Candidates must possess a Bachelor degree with Telugu as main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/Bachelor degree in oriental Language in Telugu/post graduate degree in Telugu/Telugu pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with Telugu as methodology.

(ii) Language Pandit (Hindi): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Hindi as one of the full elective subject/Bachelor degree in oriental Language in Hindi/Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha/Vidwan of Hindi Prachar sabha/Post graduate degree in Hindi with any of the training qualifications/any equivalent qualification recognized in Hindi(B.A degree standard).

(iii) Language Pandit (Urdu): Candidates must possess Bachelor degree with Urdu as main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/Bachelor degree in oriental Language in Urdu/Post graduate degree in Urdu/Urdu pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with Urdu as methodology.

(iv) Language Pandit (Kannada): Candidates must possess Bachelor degree with Kannada as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/Bachelor degree in Oriental Language in Kannada/post graduate degree in kannada/Kannada pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with kannada as methodology.

(v) Language Pandit (Oriya): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Oriya as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/Bachelor degree in oriental Language in oriya/Post graduate degree in oriya/oriya pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with oriya as methodology.

(vi) Language Pandit (Marati): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Marati as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/Bachelor degree in oriental Language with Marati/Post graduate degree in Marati/Marati pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with Marati as methodology.

(vii) Language Pandit (Gujarathi): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Gujarathi as main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/bachelor degree in oriental language with Gujarathi/post graduate degree in Gujarathi/Gujarathi pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with Gujarathi as methodology.

(viii) Language Pandit (Tamil): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Tamil as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/bachelor degree in oriental language with Tamil/post graduate degree in Tamil/Tamil pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with Tamil as methodology.

(ix) Language Pandit (Bengali): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Bengali as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/bachelor degree in oriental language with Bengali/post graduate degree in Bengali/Bengali pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with Bengali as methodology.

(x) Language Pandit (Sanskrit): Candidates must possess bachelor degree with Sanskrit as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects/bachelor degree in oriental language with Sanskrit/post graduate degree in Sanskrit/Sanskrit pandit training/its equivalent and B.Ed with Sanskrit as methodology.

IV. Physical Education Teacher: Candidates must possess Intermediate certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate education (AP) and an under graduate diploma in physical education recognized by NCTE/bachelor degree and a B.PED or M.PED.

3. APTET Score Requirements:
i. General candidates: 60% and above
ii. Backward class: 50% and above
iii. SC/ST candidates: 40% and above
iv. PWD candidates: 40% and above
