SSB Jobs 2012 – 244 HC & SI Posts: Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has issued notification against recruitment of 244 Head Constable and Sub Inspector Vacancies in the Sashastra Seema Bal a Central Armed Police Force under Ministry of Home Affairs. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 31-08-2012. SSB Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 244
Names of Posts:
1. Sub-Inspector (Pioneer) – 32 vacancies
2. Head Constable (Electrician) – 28 vacancies
3. Head Constable (Workshop) – 184 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 yrs and 25 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 31-08-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering for SI post and Matriculation and Diploma for HC post in relevant stream. For details of required stream in Diploma for different posts and for experience required, refer to the notification.

Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of The Accounts Officer, Frontier HQ SSB Lucknow payable at SBI Lucknow.  Fee can also in be paid in form of Indian Postal Order in favour of The Accounts Officer Frontier HQ SSB Lucknow. SC/ST/EXSM/Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Technical Test (Trade Test) and Final Medical Examination.

How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with payment receipt and Copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, The Inspector General, Frontier HQ, SSB Lucknow, Sankalp Bhawan, Vibhuti Khand, Plot No. TC/35-V-2, Gomati Nagar, Lucknow (UP)PIN : 226 010 on or before 31-08-2012.
