www.ssbrectt.gov.in – SSB 1524 Constable (Tradesmen) Vacancies 2012: Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has issued a notification against recruitment of 1524 Group ‘C’ Combatised, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts in tradesmen cadres in SSB. Eligible Candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 09-08-2012. Name of the Post: Constable (Tradesmen)
Names of Trades:
1. CT (Cook) – 490 vacancies
2. CT (Washer man) – 367 vacancies
3. CT (Barber) – 38 vacancies
4. CT (Safaiwala) – 262 vacancies
5. CT (Water Carrier) – 211 vacancies
6. CT (Waiter) – 42 vacancies
7. CT (Carpenter) – 27 vacancies
8. CT (Painter) – 23 vacancies
9. CT (Tailor) – 19 vacancies
10. CT (Cobbler) – 37 vacancies
11. CT (Gardener) – 08 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 years to 23 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 09-08-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must be pass outs in Matriculation from any recognized University/Board or equivalent qualification.
Application Fee Details: Candidates need to pay Rs. 50/- towards Application Fee in form of IPO or Bank Draft in favor of “Accounts Officer, FTR HQ, SSB, Patna, Bihar ” payable at SBI Patna-0152. SC/ST/EXSM are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
Selection Process: Selections would be made on basis of Document Verification, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test and Practical/Trade Test followed by Medical Examination.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with payment receipt and Copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, The Inspector General, FTR HQ (SSB), Patna, Rukanpura House, Baily Road, Patna (Bihar)-800014 on or before 09-08-2012.

As per the notification the last date for applying the vacancies in SSB is already over.

As per the notification the candidates who are pass outs in Matriculation from any recognized University/Board or equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for the post of Constable in SSB. But the last date for applying the vacancies are already over.
