Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Teachers (including retired teachers), Retired government Servants, Senior Citizens, Students and Teachers, Anganwadi Workers, Doctors/Physicians, Students & Law Students (till they enroll as lawyers), Members of non political, services oriented NGOs and clubs, Educated prisoners with good behavior, serving long term sentence in prisons, Women from self Help Group, Third Gender, Any other literate citizens willing to do social work voluntarily with no criminal record.

Salary/ Stipend
- The work of PLV does not carry any salary, remuneration or wages, except honorarium fixed by the MSLSA from time to time.

General Information/ Instructions
- Under the Legal Volunteers Scheme of Hon'ble National Legal Services Authority, Delhi, Para Legal Volunteers (Adhikar Mitra) are to be selected at District Legal Services Authority, District Court Solapur and Taluka Legal Services Committees, Akkalkot / Karmala / Pandharpur / Malshiras / Sangola / Mohol / Mangalvedha / Madha / Barshi. For this, applications are invited from male/female citizens who are residents of Solapur district.
- Legal Volunteers will be given honorarium as per rules for the services rendered by them regarding the work given by the Authority. They will not be given any kind of salary, remuneration or wages other than honorarium.
- Interested citizens of Solapur district who wish to serve as Para Legal Volunteers (Adhikar Mitra), such as teachers and retired teachers, retired government employees, senior citizens, students and teachers studying social work, Anganwadi workers, doctors, law college students, non-political members of voluntary organizations/cooperatives, women from self-help/savings groups or other women's groups, as well as interested literate citizens who have no record of any kind of criminal offense and who are willing to do social work voluntarily, can submit applications. A candidate can apply at only one place. The application form is available on the website of Hon'ble District Court, Solapur https://solapur.dcourts.gov.in.
- Citizens of Solapur district should submit their applications along with photo, educational documents, residence certificate, addressed to Hon'ble Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Solapur, at District Legal Services Authority, District Court Premises, Solapur by 02/03/2026 or before in person. Applications received after the given date will not be considered.
- I further declare that I have full knowledge about the fact that the work of PLV does not carry any salary, remuneration or wages, except honorarium fixed by the MSLSA from time to time. I do hereby undertake to work at district level, Taluka level and village level as directed by District Legal Services Authority, Solapur.
