Eligibility Criteria
- Professor: A Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry the concerned discipline from SAU/ SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university. A Master's degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed in concerned /allied subject from SAU/SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university.
- Associate Professor: A Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry of respective discipline from SAU/ SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university. A Master's degree with at least 55% marks(50% marks for SC/ST) or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed in concerned /allied subject from SAU/SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university.
- Assistant Professor: A Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry of respective discipline from SAU/ SVU/ Deemed University or any other recognized university. A Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/Allied subject from SAU/SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University
Age Limit
- Age Limit (Only for Assistant Professors):
- The candidates should have not crossed 38 years of age in case of General merit, 41 years of age in case of OBC and 43 years in case of SC, ST and Cat-I category candidates as on the last date of submission of application.
- Age relaxation for in-services candidates and other categories shall be considered based on the relevant orders of Government of Karnataka in vogue.
