SSC Selection Post Phase 14 Syllabus 2026 and Exam Pattern is released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruitment to various Selection Posts through Phase-XIV/2026 Examination. The Computer Based Examination will be conducted separately for Matriculation, Higher Secondary (10+2), and Graduation & above levels in June 2026 (tentative).

Key Points:
- The exam is conducted separately for three educational levels.
- Questions in Part A, B & D are set as per the post's educational qualification level.
- Part C (Quantitative Aptitude) is usually at Matriculation level for all posts.

- The exam is bilingual (English & Hindi) except the English Language section.

Matriculation Level Syllabus
General Intelligence:
Questions of non-verbal type on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.
General Awareness:
Questions on general awareness of the environment and its application to society, knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.
Quantitative Aptitude:
Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
English Language:
Candidates' understanding of the Basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. his/her writing ability would be tested.
Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Syllabus
General Intelligence:
Both verbal and non-verbal type questions on Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole/pattern-folding & unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern-folding & completion, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Word Building, Coding and de-coding, Numerical operations, Other sub-topics, if any.
General Awareness:

Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage.
Graduation & Above Level Syllabus
General Intelligence:
Both verbal and non-verbal type questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding & decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning and other sub-topics.
General Awareness:
Questions on general awareness of the environment and its application to society, knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity & Scientific Research etc.
Quantitative Aptitude:
