Eligibility Criteria
Professor
- Qualification: MD/MS in concerned subject
- Experience: Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a recognized medical institution, or Specialist Medical Officer of the Armed Forces with at least three years of experience as Associate Professor; published at least two research publications after becoming Associate Professor (first three authors); completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research from recognized medical institution
Associate Professor
- Qualification: MD/MS in concerned subject
- Experience: Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in recognized medical institution or five years if appointed directly as Assistant Professor in Government medical institution; or Specialist Medical Officer of Armed Forces with at least five years clinical experience (three years teaching as Associate Professor); published at least two research publications after becoming Assistant Professor (first three authors); completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research
Assistant Professor
- Qualification: MD/MS in concerned subject
- Experience: One year as Senior Resident in concerned subject in recognized medical institution; or Specialist Medical Officers with at least one year teaching experience or two years clinical experience after postgraduate qualification; or non-teaching Consultant with postgraduate degree and two years experience in 220+ bed Government hospital; or diploma holders with total four years Senior Resident experience before 08.06.2017; or diploma holders with six years cumulative experience in government medical institution
Senior Resident
- Qualification: MD/MS in concerned subject
- Experience: Relevant clinical and teaching experience as per specialty
Non-clinical Subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology)
- Qualification: Master of Science with Doctor of Philosophy
- Experience: Qualifying teaching experience as applicable
