Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Power Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a Government recognized Institute/University approved by AICTE/UGC with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/OGPA.
- Candidates having Post Graduation in relevant field of Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical Engineering will have added advantage.
- Possession of Rolling Stock project management certification and handling project related works will be an added advantage.
- For AGM (Rolling Stock) – Applicants from Government organizations, Metro Rail, Railway PSUs or other PSUs must have minimum 10 years of post-qualification work experience and be working in analogous Grade Rs. 100000-260000 (IDA E7)/equivalent CDA pay scale or in Grade Rs. 90000-240000 (IDA E6)/equivalent CDA pay scale with minimum 2 years in E6.
- For JGM (Rolling Stock) – Applicants from Government organizations, Metro Rail, Railway PSUs or other PSUs must have minimum 8 years of post-qualification work experience and be working in analogous Grade Rs. 90000-240000 (IDA E6)/equivalent CDA pay scale or in Grade Rs. 80000-220000 (IDA E5)/equivalent CDA pay scale with minimum 2 years in E5.
- For DGM (Rolling Stock) – Applicants from Government organizations, Metro Rail, Railway PSUs or other PSUs must have minimum 6 years of post-qualification work experience and be working in analogous Grade Rs. 80000-220000 (IDA E5)/equivalent CDA pay scale or in Grade Rs. 70000-200000 (IDA E4)/equivalent CDA pay scale with minimum 2 years in E4.
- Candidates working in reputed Private Sector companies and consultancy firms in managerial positions with minimum 06/08/10 years and above overall post qualification working experience for DGM/JGM/AGM respectively (with minimum 4 years in planning, tendering, designing, testing, commissioning, operation, maintenance of rolling stock) and drawing CTC of minimum Rs. 1,80,000 per month will be considered for AGM/JGM/DGM as per their length of experience and expertise in the relevant field.

Selection Process
- After preliminary screening of the applications received from candidates by email, eligible candidates will be called for document verification and interaction.
- In case of large number of eligible applications, candidates up to 5 times the notified vacancies will be called for document verification and interaction based on their experience.
- Candidates will be interviewed by a nominated Committee and selection will be finalized on merit based on performance in the interview, qualification and post-qualification experience.
- The overall qualifying marks shall be minimum 60; candidates must obtain at least 60 marks in the personal interview.
- Panel of standby candidates over and above requirement will be maintained as per merit as decided by MRVC and may be engaged as per project requirements within the validity of the panel.
- Posts notified are not regular establishment posts and selected candidates shall not be absorbed in MRVC regular service and shall have no right to claim permanent absorption.
- The Corporation reserves the right to terminate the contract if the contract appointee is found unsuitable, by giving one month notice or payment in lieu thereof; similarly, the appointee will be required to give one month notice to MRVC for termination of contract.
General Information / Instructions
- Candidates must bring original application, original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies in proof of photo identity, age, caste, educational qualification and experience on the date of document verification and interaction.
- Candidates should bring one character certificate from Gazetted Officers/Executive Officers certifying that they are bearing good moral character.
- Incomplete or vague educational qualifications will be invalid.
- If any document/certificate/information is found incorrect or false in any scrutiny or verification, the contractual service will be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason or prior notice, besides legal action.
- The Corporation reserves the right to cancel, restrict, curtail or enlarge the contract engagement process without prior notice and without assigning reasons.
- No train/bus fare (TA/DA) shall be payable by the Corporation for appearing in document verification and interaction.
- Selected candidates should be able to join at the project site within a maximum of 45 days after issue of offer of appointment; any deviation will be dealt with on case-to-case basis.
- Officials serving Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies, if selected, will be allowed to join only after proper relieving from their parent organization.
- Selected candidates shall use electronic resources of MRVC in strict adherence to policies and guidelines; misuse may result in termination of employment and legal action.
- On termination or expiry of contract, appointees must return all MRVC property, documents, passwords/user IDs and clear all advances or dues.
