Project Engineer (MEP): BE/B.Tech (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) with not less than 60% marks from recognised (AICTE) University.
Where percentage of marks is not awarded by the university but only CGPA/OGPA/CPI/DGPA is awarded, the same shall be converted into percentage in terms of conversion norms of the university.
Rounding off percentage will not be acceptable for considering eligibility; e.g. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in MEP in Government organization/Public Sector Undertaking or Public Limited Company as Project Engineer or equivalent as on date of issue of the vacancy notification.
An in-depth understanding of MEP System is crucial, including expertise in HVAC components like air distribution and renewable energy systems, electrical systems such as power distribution, and plumbing knowledge for water system, storm drains, and gas piping.
Knowledge of tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP software, MATLAB, and Simulink to create precise system designs and models.
Experience certificate issued by Public listed company having average annual turnover of Rs 500 Crore and above in last 3 Financial years (excluding current financial year), listed on National Stock Exchange or Bombay Stock Exchange, incorporated/registered at least 5 years prior to the date of issue of experience certificate, shall also be considered, provided the experience certificate has been issued by a person authorized by the Public listed company.
Salary/Stipend
Pay Scale: IDA Equivalent E1 grade Rs.40,000-1,40,000.
Basic Pay: Rs.40,000/- per month.
Pay and perks include Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Cafeteria of Allowances, House Rent Allowance, Consolidated Travelling Allowance, Provident Fund (employer's share) etc.
Other entitlements like mobile phone, laptop, sodexo etc. are as per the policy of the corporation.
Pay protection will be given to candidates working in IDA E1 grade as Project Engineer or equivalent in the relevant field.
PF, Income Tax and any other incidental recovery will be deducted from Gross Salary as per extant rules.

Leave: 8 days Casual Leave per annum, 2 days Restricted Holidays per annum, 10 days sick leave for six months (like Half pay leave with provision for commutation), and 12 days special leave per annum.

Selection Process
After preliminary screening of the applications received from candidates by mail, the eligible candidates will only be called for document verification and interaction.
In case of more number of eligible applications received, candidates equal to 5 times the notified vacancies will only be called for document verification and interaction based on their engineering marks and experience.
The candidate will be interviewed by a nominated Committee, and the selection will be finalized on merit based on the performance in the interview, qualification and post qualification experience gained by the candidate.
The candidate must qualify with minimum 60% marks in the personal interview.
The decision of the Nominated Committee of MRVC shall be final and binding.
A panel of standby candidates over and above requirement will be maintained as per merit as decided by MRVC, and such candidates may be engaged as per requirements of MRVC projects within the validity of panel.
The period of contract will be initially for a period of two years, extendable on yearly basis on satisfactory performance and mutual consent, and can be renewed as a fresh contract on year-to-year basis if required.
The posts notified are not regular establishment posts and the candidates shall not have right to claim for permanent absorption in MRVC.
General Information/Instructions
The candidates must bring with them original application, original certificates, along with one set of self-attested photocopy in proof of photo identity, age, caste, educational qualification along with mark sheets of all semesters of Degree and experience on the date of document verification and interaction; formula of aggregate percentage calculation of Degree (CGPA/SGPA etc.) to be attached with application.
Candidate should bring one character certificate from Gazetted Officers/Executives Officers for certifying that he is bearing good moral character (not older than six months).
Incomplete or vague educational qualification will be invalid.
Even after contractual agreement, if any document/certificate/information is found incorrect or false in any scrutiny or verification, then the contractual service will be immediately terminated forthwith without assigning any reason and prior notice, besides legal action.
The Corporation reserves the right to cancel/restrict/curtail/enlarge the contract engagement process, if need so arises, without any prior notice and without assigning any reasons.
No train/bus fare/TA/DA shall be payable by the Corporation to the candidates for appearing document verification and interaction.
Selected candidate will have to pass prescribed medical examination before the contract is entered into, for fitness to perform the work awarded.
The selected candidates should be able to join at the project site within maximum 45 days after issuing of offer of appointment by MRVC; any deviation will be dealt with on case-to-case basis, based on the merits of the case.
The selected candidates will have to serve the Corporation for at least two years for which he/she should execute a Surety Bond of Rs.1 Lakh in favour of Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. on Rs.500/- stamp paper to serve the Company for two years.
The candidate should have sound health and before joining will have to undergo medical examination and produce the certificate of fitness for job issued by a doctor (at least MBBS).
The contract can be terminated on completion of last day of contract period or any extended period, on breach of any terms of contract, or on the last day of one month notice period of termination issued by either side or payment in lieu thereof.
Upon premature termination or expiration of contract, the contract appointee shall return to MRVC any property belonging to MRVC, tools and plants, documents, passwords or user IDs etc., and clear all advances or dues.
Selected candidates shall use electronic resources of MRVC in strict adherence to the policies and guidelines issued by MRVC, and misuse may result in termination of employment and legal action.
