AP Postal Recruitment 2011 - Postal Asst, Sorting Asst & Postmen posts: Andhra Pradesh Postal Department has advertised a recruitment job notification for filling up of Postal Assistants, Sorting Assistants and Postmen vacancies under sports quota for meritorious sports persons in various division/units. AP Postal Recruitment vacancy details:
Total no. of posts: 61 posts
Name of the posts:
1. Postal Assistants: 36 posts
Pay scale: Rs.5200-20200 Plus allowances with grade pay of Rs 2400/-
2. Sorting Assistants: 04 posts
Pay scale: Rs.5200-20200 Plus allowances with grade pay of Rs 2400/-
3. Postmen: 21 posts
Pay scale: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus allowances with grade pay of Rs. 2000/-
Age limit: The candidate’s age limit is between 18 and 25 years as on 31-08-2011, reservation as per Govt rules.
Educational qualification: Candidates pass in 10+2 standard or 12th class pass of a recognized university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject for the posts of Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants, Matriculation or Equivalent for the post of Postmen.
How to apply: The eligible and interested candidates may send their application in prescribed format given in the advertisement, with two passport size recent photographs are required, one to be pasted in the application and other to be sent loose with name and address written on the reverse, together with attested Xerox copies of all necessary certificates to the following address by ordinary post on or before 31-08-2011, The Asst Director (Rectt & Welfare) O/O Chief Postmaster-General, AP Circle, Hyderabad-500001.
